that one saturday before easter

it was on the saturday before easter (pretty sure anyway) when the moody weather subsided, the clouds parted and the sun blessed my dazed and confused soul with its rays. it was GLORIOUS. i spent most of the day like a cat, repositioning myself every ten minutes to better absorb the warmth. i wore a dress the color of the beaming star and spaghetti straps to expose my limbs, ravenous for some vitamin d. sunglasses that josh found while cleaning out an old drawer and well, just look how amazing they look on me. anyway, this was just a very good saturday in the age of corona.

have been taking my sweet time devouring this book. this particular session i’d read a a few pages then stop to lean my head back and let the sun do its magic. i felt energized yet totally relaxed. i could do this if only every day was like this one…

not everyone felt the same.
