family dinner night: jon & vinny's

a few weekends ago these fancy pants and my cheeky crew walked to probably the best dinner of my life! no exaggeration guys. true story. i'll tell it now!

you see we don't get to eat dinner together during the week much as josh has crazy hours. on the weekends we try to make up for it by going on our little adventures and sharing a nice meal. it feels so deliciously NORMAL. and i will happily take normal two days out the week! hell yes serve it up!

never miss a beat or a pattern. dressing these two is my passion!

i like never ever pass up polenta when it makes itself available on a menu. and this one came straight from the HEAVENS. jon & vinny who ever you are BLESS YOU.

the pizza lover and the wine lover. it just works. oh and hey theres my pizza drawing again from a diff angle. you're welcome!

he really liked the pizza. 

actually loved it. the kids menu pizza is HUGE btw. we ordered two not knowing this and they managed to inhale them both. 

always shoving food in my mouth! and he will not take no for answer!

and this is how you properly eat a slice bigger than your face.

omg how ridiculously basic, awesome and normal is a vanilla/choclate swirl soft serve? VERY.

all that seemed impossible to top. until the chef brought us this cookie. on the house. 

this is what i call family dinner night success. and it too will be pretty hard to top.
