waiting for ice cream
ever since i saw this photo on instagram i have been slightly obsessed with taking my little crew to little damage. like a lot of new places in LA, the tiny corner ice cream shop has quickly become a must-try and place to be seen thanks to its hip neon signs and 100% grammable atmosphere. and despite the 30 minute-wait to order and then another 15 to actually consume it i would say this place is worth the hype. the day we went only two flavors were on rotation - unicorn tears and black rose. OMG OMG OMG.
try this place immediately if you can. meanwhile photos!!!
the wait begins. when first approached the line was almost halfway down the block. this did not discourage me in the least! i mean this was for ice cream. we scream and we wait for ice cream!
waiting in line with two little ones can be ROUGH. thank god for samples.
but seriously why the hell did i forget to bring wipes????
so the ice cream mustaches remained.
finally. two feet in the door. home stretch.
when you have to share.
we ordered one of each flavor - unicorn tears with sprinkles and the black rose with caramel. because the black rose is crazy popular, it came out much much later. so much later that after we finished our cup of mythical blue desert we left josh to wait for the second sampling on his own. we ate it in the car and i never felt so disgusting and fulfilled. but that's ice cream right?
