there will be sun

i am seriously beginning to forget what sunshine and warm weather feels like. it has been a chilly winter. lots of rain. lots of wind.

yeah it's been brutal. mostly because i really hate being cold. josh is of course LOVING IT. so that helps. and i have gotten a lot of mileage out of my ridiculously oversized robe coat. but for reals i miss summer. and the random heatwaves of january. seriously where are you?!

ok i'll stop. because i suppose the only other bright side to this eternal reenactment of frozen is days like the one we spent at kenneth hahn park. bundled up like spoiled angelenos in this drought from warmth, four cheeks ran around the idyllic urban oasis feeding ducks, chasing geese and admiring the "robots."

this was totally one of those times when your kid is doing something potentially dangerous and probably completely rude but ALSO HILARIOUS and you're like f it. then you have to keep telling yourself how funny it was when geese retalliate and peck poor knox who was just trying to be like his big brother. sorry i don't have a photo of THAT. what a missed opportunity there! i mean he was fine and like i said, ALSO HILARIOUS.

BROS.

the higher the beanie the closer to who now?!

looking every bit the almost four-year-old. good god how?!

and will you just look at that idyllic smile on my face! no joke feeding ducks and watching water stream is chill AF.

and then...

ROBOTS! ok not really. but kind of? also, max is currently obsessed with this movie and i am not mad about it.

and knox. clearly kind of over it per usual.

and ready to get his playground on.

don't call it a hand-me-down.

BROS PART DEUX.

and we survived another winter's day. and it wasn't so bad. not so bad at all. but seriously sun. come back soon.

xoxo,

sony
