kites with friends

i really can't think of a better way to spend a sunday than at the bay, with good friends and a big bright kite...

lying back watching it fly while knox snuggled up against me...

and it only got stuck in the tree once! the kids loved watching josh climb the tree so much they wanted it to happen again. josh was like, uh no.

i didn't fly the kite myself. it was too good to watch. the expressions on the boys' faces...

it was almost as if they were lifting off with it. and with the way their imagination soars... it probably really felt that way.

thanks to my friend marnee for capturing all these moments while my camera was broken. they are absolutely getting me through this thing we call monday.
